About us

Miss Bridal Gown isn’t just a wedding dress shop – it is my passion. I want brides-to-be to come here and experience that feeling of being very special – even before their big day.

Of course, brides are very welcome to simply pop in and have a look round but, ideally, I like to make appointments with my customers.

I like to spend all the time they need with them, We have a glass of bubbly and I can get to know all about their wedding. After all, weddings and locations vary and sometimes I have to take that into account when the bride and I select gowns to be tried.

The great advantage of having an appointment is that I can make sure we have all the time needed and a degree of privacy for all that trying-on and fitting. I always dress my customers personally. You just can’t dress yourself in a full wedding gown.

This is a totally stress free environment and if customers want to take a break and go into Hungerford for a coffee, drink or spot of food, that’s fine. There are some great places to go within a few yards of here although most customers – and the ‘support team’ they bring with them settle here with a glass of champagne or some coffee and we can chat away about looks, styles and that whole wedding creation.

My passion for perfection has led me to offer gowns from Pronovia and Lusan Mandongus with absolutely wonderful accessories from Polly Edwards.

You know, I remember working in a wedding gown shop for a while and thought then that this is a wonderful job. And it is.
