About us

Carpuccino – much more than great coffee!

Carpuccino is coffee on the go. Actually, it’s great coffee, excellent tea, meltingly delicious hot chocolate and some scrummy snacks too.

You’ll see the fully equipped Carpuccino café parked at the entrance to the London bound platform (platform 2) at Hungerford Station from 5.30am to 11.00am every weekday. Creator and owner of this long awaited for service, Rebecca, will welcome you with that much needed morning cuppa.

Carpuccino isn’t only for commuters! Its handy position, at the top of the Tesco’s car park, close to the town car park in Station Road, and near the canal path, makes excellent coffee to take away easily available for all of Hungerford.

About Rebecca

Hello – I’m Rebecca and I’ll be at Hungerford Station, London-bound, platform 2 entrance, every weekday morning from 05.30 to 11.00 to welcome you to the best in coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks – quickly and happily!

I’m originally from Chicago (where no-one accepts less than the best in their coffee cup!) and I moved to the UK over 20 years ago. For the last ten years I have lived in Marlborough where I have loved raising my two sons in this most beautiful area.

As well as creating Carpuccino for the early commuters and people on the go in Hungerford, I’m also delighted to provide my services for all types of events - wedding, parties, sports meetings, school sports days, point-to-points – in fact just about anywhere where people want top quality hot drinks and snacks. You know what they say – have Carpuccino, will travel!

It’s all about quality

When I have a coffee, I want it to be really good, delicious coffee and I know you do too. I buy only the best and that is from ‘Easy José Coffee’, a highly specialised coffee company run by José Melim who is a South West and Wales barista champion.

José’s premium Arabica coffee is sourced from mountain farms, estates, and co-operatives. This not only ensure the highest possible quality, it also directly benefits the farms and their employees.

The coffee I use is grown at high altitude, which results in a slow maturing fruit, and that means the beans are low in acidity and very high in quality and taste.

This isn’t your usual ‘chain’ or big brand coffee shop, but don’t take my word for it, let your taste buds prove the point!
