Macmillan Coffee Morning

Last Friday's Macmillan Coffee Morning broke all previous records raising an incredible £1371.15. Now in its fourth year, the fundraising event was organised by the Tutti Pole's Fiona Hobson who persuaded local businesses and individuals to donate raffle prizes and auction lots for the silent auction.

Held in the United Reformed Church, the event went swimmingly, with cakes, tea and coffee were provided by the Tutti Pole and Chris Buck on the keyboards keeping the mood lively and the tempo upbeat.

Macmillan provide outstanding support for cancer sufferers and their families and rely heavily on these coffee mornings for much needed funds. Those who worked particularly hard to make last week's event such a success include: Debbie Padgen, Hilary Kelly, Chris Cragg, Chris Buck, David Bunney, Stephen Berryman, Amanda Wood & Tina Harrigan-James.
