URC spectacular banner

on 26 June 2015.

A gift from the Newbury United Reformed Church when it closed in April, a spectacular banner comprised of 1200 squares made by 295 people, was dedicated to Hungerford in a service on midsummer's day by Revd. John Sturney.

Originally made in 2002, the banner was restored to its former glory by a cleaning and restoration team led by Anne Jones from Newbury URC.

Thanks to Anne & Alan Jones, Mandi Bainbridge, Pat Morgan, Serena & Jeremy Nickson and Tony Lavers.
