Hungerford beats the Bulls

on 30 September 2014.

The Crusaders took the bull by its horns and led the charge against Hereford to win 2-0 in an away match which saw Hungerford score in the first two minutes.

It was Josh Parsons who set up the goal with a floating cross for Jon Boardman to head home pat the Hereford keeper. Then Hungerford had to wait until the second half to grasp victory in the two team’s first contest. The winning second goal came from a penalty after Josh Parsons was fouled and James Pilling fired in a free kick which out HTFC back to fifth in the table.

Scorer of the winning free kick, James Pilling.
