TOWNSITE have a limited number of invitations to give away for the official launch of the Hungerford Literary Festival on Monday 9th October, 6.30-8pm. The drinks reception will be held in the glamorous glass-fronted first floor of the Dick Lovett showroom on Charnham Street where guests will be treated to free drinks, canapes and specially commissioned poetry from local scribe Toni Kent.

Festival curator Emma Milne White will be giving a snapshot what’s in store at this year’s Literary Festival inspired by the theme of journeys. Hungerford Bookshop in association with Arts for Hungerford have pulled together a fascinating line up of writers and events for the weekend of 13th-15th October.
