If, like many of us you long to shop organic but find the cost prohibitive, then the Hungerford Environmental Action Team (HEAT) has the answer. Since November they have established a bulk food buying programme in association with Essential, a leading UK organic and fair-trade product wholesaler who manufacture and distribute wholefoods, ecological household products and cruelty-free body care items to an international market.

Green drinks is an informal social occasion held on the last Thursday of every month at the Plume of Feathers Inn and their next meeting will be held next Thursday 26th February at 8pm to discuss:

  • The next bulk food order
  • Ordering and collection options
  • Feedback on products
  • Anyone who over-ordered last month can bring items along to swap
  • Any other ideas the group would like to consider.

If you want to purchase affordable organic products and make new friends interested in the environment then this meeting is for you.
