Bully for Brunskill!

on 28 January 2014.

This fine, sturdy little chap is the first calf of 2014 to be born at Farncombe Farm, home to a wonderful herd of traditional Hereford cattle.

Making the score bull calves-1, heifers-0 so far this year, Farncombe’s latest addition adds to its herd of 40 Herefords. It is a pedigree herd descended from the original English Hereford herd book and its fabulous meat, known as Brunskill Beef, is some of the best beef you’ll ever taste.

Importantly, this new calf is another continuation of the pedigree bloodline in a valuable native breed now at risk.
