Elegantly located in the Royal county of Berkshire, this stunning Grade I listed Tudor property is full of charm and character. It is here our (adult only) guests take in the stunning surroundings whilst exploring the landscaped gardens, patios and secret spots. Or, grab yourself a drink and relax in the Great Hall. There’s plenty to try here – from archery to snooker and our spa and pool area. If you fancy exploring the local area, take a trip to the Roman city of Bath or the ancient wonders of Stonehenge.

It is where Henry VIII wooed Jane Seymour, where ghosts still walk (so it’s said) and where discerning visitors chooses to stay time and time again.


Set in the most beautiful grounds, some 113 acres of manicured gardens and rolling Royal Berkshire countryside, Littlecote House hotel is a wonderful destination for adults. It boasts a vast range of outdoor activities, sumptuous bedrooms, its own theatre and food and dining experiences to suite all tastes and wishes.

If you can tear yourself away from Littlecote House, the surrounding area has so much to offer. There are great walks (see the Ramsbury to Littlecote round trip on this website) and historic Hungerford with its world famous antiques shops is on the doorstep.

Marlborough, Highclere Castle (setting for Downton Abbey) and Newbury and Ascot races are also within easy reach.

And within the grounds of Littlecote House is the famed Roman Orpheus Mosaic and the remains of a Roman Villa. The wonderful Roman city of Bath is nearby as is Stonehenge.
