Weekly Events

Sunday Services are held at 11.00 a.m. WITH JUNIOR CHURCH (Joint services below)

Junior Church - held during the Sunday Service 11 - 12 noon

Ladies Fellowship is held at 7 Hillside Road Thursdays during term time 10.30 to 11.45 a.m. commencing January 5th.

No meeting February 16th due to half term

Friday 9th Dec 6.00p.m : Victorian Extravaganza, the Church will be open from 6 p.m

Sunday 11th December 11 a.m.: Christmas Praise service led by Revd. David Bunney & the Junior Church

Tuesday 13th December 6.15 p.m.: - Carol singing around the top of Town in aid of the Blue Peter Appeal/ Children in need (more details from 01488 683165 )

Sunday 18th December 11a.m.: - Carol Service & Holy Communion led by Revd. John Sturney

Saturday 24th December :- Christmas Eve Service at 11.45 p.m. preceded by coffee & mince pies in the Memorial Room from 11.15 p.m.

Sunday 25th December :Joint service at The Methodist Church 10.30 a.m.

Sunday 1st January 11 a.m. : Service led by Rev. Nigel Sands

Sunday 22nd January :joint service at The United Reformed Church 11.00 a.m.

Sunday 26th February : joint service at the Methodist Church 10.30 a.m

The School Room and Memorial Room at the rear of the Church are also available to hire. Extensive work was carried out in 2004 to give the building excellent disabled access.

Blandy’s bistro are renowned for their extraordinary afternoon tea. It is a banquet affair with a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, homemade scones with tiptree preserve and clotted cream along with a variety of homemade cakes.

Your library is about so much more than books
Judging from the amount of community activity going in Hungerford Library, the council are going to have a hard time justifying its closure in their next round of swingeing cuts.
