About us



The CHAIN Lunch team need the following help for 2009 at the Croft Hall on the Third Thursdays in Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov.

One or two people to dry crockery after it has come out of the dishwasher.

One person to wash roasting tins, saucepans and rinse off plates.

Occasional help with laying tables. Occasional help with serving.

Preparation of vegetables. These can be delivered to you and collected when ready. This would perhaps suit a housebound person. If you know someone who might like to help in this way perhaps you could pass on this information.

Occasional washing and ironing of tablecloths, napkins, etc. This can be delivered to you and Collected when ready. A small payment can be made to cover expenses of electric and washing powder.

Blandy’s bistro are renowned for their extraordinary afternoon tea. It is a banquet affair with a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, homemade scones with tiptree preserve and clotted cream along with a variety of homemade cakes.
