Hungerford literary festival - now an extra day!

sally vickers hungerford literary festival

Sally Vickers, best-selling author of novels including the much praised 'The Cleaner of Chartres', serialised on BBC's Book at Bedtime, is coming to Hungerford which means that this year's festival is an even bigger event and is being extended by a day to the evening on Monday October 21st when Sally will be at the Corn Exchange.

It promises to be a great evening, as Book of the Year winner Robert McCrum remarked in The Observer:"Sally Vickers is a novelist whose imaginative journey always promises magic and mystery. The Cleaner of Chartres shows her on top form in a rich weave of loss and redemption spiked with Ms Vickers' irrepressible wit."
